I am so excite today to have a fresh new coat of colour to my hair. It had been coloured before from other salons which one of them was a total failure resulting in a red tint at the roots area. As the hair grown, this new coat is certainly in time for the Manhunt event and Noel Caleb event later. Selfies before the hair makeover start!

This is the original plus not so healthy colour shade. I had a discussion with the colour specialist who made recommendation on a 2 step colour process. I voice my concern that I would like a bright colour but elegant enough for occasions and without making my hair looking dry. She’s very patient in listening to me and showed me a colour chart plus the detailed steps of what I should be expecting.

Here we go, the first step is to select sections of hair to be highlighted first.

My very first time doing a colour highlight and for me I certainly hope the colour will bring up a freshen outlook. Almost done with the highlight here.

Step 1 highlight done and I am seen here with my beautiful stylist on Step 2 which is colouring of my entire hair with another coat of colour. The lighter streaks here are a result of the highlight done earlier.

Tadaa! My fresh coat of colour and I am loving every bit of it! Can you see the layering of colours and at the same time it gave me a more vibrant feel with the healthy hair smiling right back!
