Weekend seemed more exciting especially with a special invite from Clozette being their Star Clozetter. Its a makeup workshop at
Illamasqua featuring their latest collection. It is located conveniently at #B1-32 of Ngee Ann City. I took a train over to Orchard and took me about 5 mins to reach there despite the weekend crowd.
Look at the faces of the ladies in the shop trying to get a trial of the colours available for the makeup. They were really concentrating and looking very serious. LOL!
The theme was blue due to the new collection. It includes not only the blue flowers decor but also the cupcakes, macarons and even blue canned beverages.
Here I am cannot resist this blue canned lemonade from Schweppes.

The makeup range that Larry Yeo was using to give a makeup demo on Blogger Vinna. Love the calming blue palettes. Did you spot the blue lipstick? You be surprise the magic it does to your lips.
Larry himself spotting smoky eyes and sharing of the makeup tips before starting.
He explained that there are various ways of creating the smoky eyes look. Blue is a popular colour sold to the ladies but not many is using full use of it. I love blue on my eyes. I always felt it helps to brighten and gives a day or evening look depending on the shade.
Vinna looking so sweet from the makeover. She just have such beautiful skin to start with.
Here’s Ms Jodie Soh, the Marketing Manager of Illamasqua with Larry trying that blue lipstick magic on her. First he applied the blue lipstick at the edges, blot with tissue then he choose a mid tone red lipstick, blot again and applied the red lipstick to give that sensual deep red purple tone on the lips. Jodie has beautiful lip shape and ultimately she carried the colour really well with her current look.

This was my first experience with
Illamasqua. They have colors for everyone from subtle to dramatic ones from the lipstick to eyeshadows. The contour stick is a die for. Creating a higher cheekbone and sharper face shape in minutes while I stare in amazement. Thus if you love a playground for makeup, this is a place you could come to bring you through day to night glamour.
