Save IndoChine Waterfront & Happy Belated Blessed Birthday Jay!

IndoChine Waterfront will be vacating the premises it has occupied for 11 years at the end of the month.

It will be making space for a revamp along the Singapore River near the Asian Civilisations Museum, where the restaurant sits. It is a huge pity… Located right beside the historical river, in the smack of Raffles Place, beautiful view, alfresco ambience.

The National Heritage Board is planning a makeover of the building that will include a river entrance, a new gallery as well as shops and restaurant space. For 11 years, it had been part of Singapore history just like Zouk which will be making way too. I feel that some things are best left unchanged. Though I am not a regular patron of the place, I still feel sadness to see it go.

Quite a huge turnout to support this cause!

Signing our petition and hopefully this marks our support to retain this place even though it have to go ultimately.

Owner Michael Ma sharing his thoughts and appreciation to the supporting crowd.

Happy birthday Jay! You are one high energy lad who stays strong and celebrating your birthday despite your dengue episode. Shoo to your illness so that you can spend more quality time with your son. Hope you like the token gift that I have prepared for you.

A new friend Magesh whom I met at the event. An outgoing recruiter who’s a great company throughout the event.

A wonderful surprise to see Mrs Singapore finalist Rina with her friend Sophia who are both beautiful mummies!

I certainly missed the time who had during the pageant. Going for sponsor visitation and practising our dance together.

Another surprise to meet one of my favourite DJ Joe Augustin. An easy going man and a good conversationalist.

A happening DJ Glenn Ong, a veteren who won the heart of gorgeous Jean Danker. Apparently, he is very much an Iphone supporter too! šŸ™‚

Closing the night with the happening group of with Andy Yun (Director of Brewerkz), Glenn Ong (DJ), Magesh, and Joe Augustin (DJ). You guys rocks! I am looking forward to the next event already!
